Financial Oversight and AccountabilityFinancial accountability is essential to the United Way Foundation. Governed by the Foundation Board of Directors and supported by a Planned Giving Committee, all Foundation investments are monitored by United Way’s Investment Committee and managed by the Foundation for Enhancing Communities. The Foundation has policies on investment and spending, and gift acceptance and recognition to ensure the funds are managed responsibly and honored as intended.
