People You Help
People You HelpServices provided by United Way of the Capital Region (UWCR)-funded programs help every city, borough and township in the Capital Region. Programs and services receiving UWCR funding must provide us with information on the individuals served by location, age, gender, race and ethnicity. We do this so we can assure our donors that the critical needs of our community are being met. UWCR believes it is important to document how many of our neighbors are helped by the donations entrusted to us. Please note that the privacy of those touched by UWCR-funded programs is protected, and confidentiality is maintained in accordance with the highest standards and in full compliance with all applicable laws. View information on people aided by UWCR by county and zip code. The Success Stories served by individual programs and services funded by UWCR can be found here. Check out the number of men, women and children and the ethnic breakdown of people helped by UWCR-funded programs and services. |
