Prior Year ResultsThanks to the generous support of the community, United Way of the Capital Region (UWCR) exceeded its campaign goal by raising $11,800,003 to help change lives in the Capital Region! This amount exceeds our 2011 fundraising efforts by 4.6 percent, or $500,003. During February, nearly 200 volunteers will help us decide how the money raised should be used. This is the value of United Way - our ability to make sure donors' gifts are used effectively and efficiently.
