Thanks to the generous support of the community, UWCR raised $9,601,731 last year to help change lives in the Capital Region. This amount exceeds our 2006 fundraising efforts by nearly 4 percent, or $363,716.

During February, nearly 200 volunteers helped us decide how the money raised should be used. This is the value of United Way - our ability to make sure donors' gifts are used effectively and efficiently.
