CONTACT Helpline is a 24-hour, 7 day-a-week, listening, information and referral service. CONTACT maintains a database of more than 1,300 referral agencies, organizations and programs, serving residents of Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties. Since 1970, CONTACT's highly-trained volunteers have maintained the 24-hour helpline, answering calls from nearly 2,000 individuals monthly. CONTACT is considered the 'Gateway to Human Services' in the Capital Region and maintains the most comprehensive listing of human services available to residents. Through partnerships with a number of county and state agencies and local United Ways, CONTACT continues to improve and expand its services to the community. Visit the CONTACT Helpline web site. |
