United Way of the Capital Region (UWCR) helps change lives in Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties by bringing community leaders together to find solutions to pressing problems; providing training and technical assistance to charitable non-profits; and, offering financial support to specific programs that address identified needs.
Focused Care Areas: UWCR supports nearly 100 of the most effective and efficient programs in our community that address problems relating to children and youth, families and seniors, disease and disabilities, emergency food and shelter, and strong and safe communities.
