Leaving Your Charitable Legacy

Charity is not limited to your lifetime. Most of us give time, talent and money to charitable organizations throughout our lives because we care about our community. We experience the joy that comes from giving and knowing we make a difference.United Way Foundation Logo

Created in 1996, the United Way Foundation of the Capital Region provides donors, like you, a vehicle to create a lasting legacy. Through the Foundation, donors can help ensure services will be available in our community when they are needed most. The Foundation offers three different funds for giving:

  • Unrestricted Fund for the most pressing needs identified in our community.
  • Community Response Fund for new and emerging needs.
  • A specific named fund.

For additional information, please view the United Way Foundation of the Capital Region brochure.
