Bridges Society
United Way of the Capital Region’s Bridges Society connects a diverse group of leaders through giving and volunteering. Great things happen when we LIVE UNITED!
Community Leadership
Bridges Breakfasts: Hear from local business executives about their insights on leadership.
Events: Network with members of our Tocqueville Society and Women’s Leadership Network.
Volunteering
Exclusive Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteer with other members on projects that make a difference in the areas of access to health care, basic needs, school readiness and workforce development.
In 2021, Bridges members assembled stability kits for local people in need and they helped pack school supplies from our “Stuff the Bus” event for children participating in our Ready for School, Ready to Succeed program. They also volunteered alongside hundreds of local high school students for Youth Day of Caring.
Giving
Annual Campaign: In 2021, 678 Bridges members contributed $1,384,226 to benefit our community through United Way.
