Women’s Leadership Network
United Way of the Capital Region’s Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) is an alliance of dynamic women who are changing our community through philanthropy and volunteerism. Great things happen when we LIVE UNITED!
Community Leadership
Conversations With Women Who Make a Difference: Hear from female leaders in our community and learn how you can make a difference through United Way.
Volunteering
Exclusive Opportunities: Volunteer on projects to help strengthen our community in the areas of access to health care, basic needs, school readiness and workforce development.
In 2021, WLN members worked alongside our other donor networks to assemble stability kits for local people in need. For Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, members completed “drop and go” volunteer kits which included bookmarks and bookworms for children in our Ready for School, Ready to Succeed program.
Giving
Annual Campaign: In 2021, 708 WLN members contributed $2,408,140 to benefit our community through United Way.
