Women’s Leadership Network
United Way of the Capital Region’s Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) is an alliance of dynamic women who are changing our community through philanthropy and volunteerism. Great things happen when we LIVE UNITED!
Community Leadership
Conversations With Women Who Make a Difference: During these events you will hear from female leaders in our community and learn how you can make a difference through United Way.
Volunteering
Exclusive Opportunities: Volunteer on projects to help strengthen our community in the areas of access to health care, basic needs, school readiness, and workforce development.
In 2020, WLN members participated in several “take home” projects. Members made masks and assembled first aid kits for families in our Contact to Care health initiative. They also assembled first impression kits for participants in our Road to Success workforce development initiative.
Giving
Annual Campaign: In 2020, 717 WLN members contributed $2,267,141 to benefit our community through United Way.
