Access to Health Care

No Insurance? Need Help With Health Care?

United Way of the Capital Region’s Access to Health Care program (Contact to Care) helps the uninsured navigate the health care system, overcome barriers to care and connect with a primary health provider. We serve Harrisburg, Northern Dauphin County, Perry County and the West Shore/Mechanicsburg areas.

We can help with:

  • Health insurance applications and renewals
  • Medical, dental and vision care if you don’t have insurance
  • Transportation to medical appointments
  • Food services
For more information, contact one of our community health workers listed below for your area.

You can also use this link for a timely self-referral to the program. Questions? E-mail [email protected].

Visit the Contact to Care Youtube page to learn how to get health care and other resources you need for a healthy life.
