More Than $9.2 Million Raised to Help Our Community
Celebrating Our Generous Community
United Way of the Capital Region is fueled by passion and rooted in generosity. Our supporters bring enthusiasm, kindness, and a shared love for the region we proudly call home. On May 13, more than 350 people celebrated our campaign achievements and our life-changing work at the Hershey Lodge.
At the event, Jodie Daubert, 2025 campaign chair, announced we raised $9,258,441, surpassing our goal of $8,832,190 as well as the amount raised last year. Event highlights included musical performances by students at Milton Hershey School as well as a choir performance from students attending West Shore Christian Academy.
Guests also heard from Juma, one of United Way’s first participants in our workforce development program. She has progressed from a CNA to LPN while working at Country Meadows Retirement Communities with support from United Way.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who supported our 2025 campaign. It truly takes a village, and we believe our village is second to none. United is the Way we transform our community.
Special thanks to our sponsors: the Hershey Company; Penn State Health; Brown Plus; Delta Dental of Pennsylvania; Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company; Members 1st Federal Credit Union; UPMC Central PA; Wilsbach Distributors, Inc; and AAA Central Penn.
