Impact of Federal and State Budget Impasses
We’re sharing updates, resources, and a call to action to help local families during the federal and state budget impasses.
We help all families thrive by focusing on four pillars:
Healthy Community
Our Access to Health Care program connects community health workers to help people navigate the health care system and get the care they need.
Youth Opportunity
Our School Readiness program focuses on academic and social learning. We prepare kids for kindergarten by tailoring our program to their school.
Financial Security
We focus on helping the unemployed and underemployed obtain stable, living wages. Our Workforce Development program offers services to keep people on track through their first year of employment.
Community Resiliency
United Way of the Capital Region supports Basic Needs programs and services to help vulnerable people and families during urgent and crisis situations.
